Just finished designing and sending my 2009 Christmas Cards to the Printers. I guess I’m cutting it close, but better late than never right? I like the idea of Christmas, but not so much the actuality of XMAS. Lots of Traffic, Stupid people cluttering up the stores and cafes I frequent, vagrants are extra vigilante,trying to capitalize on the Holiday Hustle! It’s all enough to make you day dream about mowing down annoying shoppers at mall with an AK-47. But there is another side of Christmas. Chillin at home with the ones that you love. I tried to personify that homie Good Vibrations in this card… + gratuitous sexuality.

I feel you on the actualities of Xmas, cuz it’s the whole month of December that all of this happens. By the time Xmas comes, you’re so worn out by it that you almost can’t enjoy it. But I like what you did with St. Nick in this picture, got him chillin’ on some Hugh Hef shit… that’s the way it should be. I wouldn’t be mad about gettin’ one of these cards late. You might spark some post-Xmas festivities. Nice work!
